Reviewer Guidelines

1. Purpose of Peer Review

The peer review process is a critical element in maintaining the quality and integrity of scholarly publications. Reviewers provide expert evaluations that help the editorial team make informed decisions and support authors in improving their manuscripts.

2. Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Provide objective and constructive feedback within the agreed timeframe.
  • Evaluate the manuscript's originality, clarity, methodology, relevance, and contribution to the field.
  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid sharing or using the manuscript content for personal advantage.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest (personal, financial, or professional) and decline the review if necessary.
  • Report any suspected ethical issues, such as plagiarism, duplicate submission, or unethical research practices.

3. Review Criteria

  • Originality: Is the work novel and does it add value to existing knowledge?
  • Structure and Clarity: Is the manuscript well-organized and clearly written?
  • Methodology: Is the research design appropriate and rigorous?
  • Relevance: Does the manuscript align with the journal’s scope and audience?
  • References: Are citations up to date and appropriately used?

4. Review Format and Recommendation

Reviewers are requested to submit their reports through the journal’s online system. The review should include:

  • A brief summary of the manuscript.
  • Major strengths and weaknesses.
  • Specific, numbered comments for the author(s) to address.
  • A confidential note to the editor, if necessary.
  • A final recommendation (e.g., Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject).

5. Confidentiality and Ethics

Reviewers must treat all submissions as confidential documents. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate; feedback should be respectful, focused on the content, and aimed at improving the work.

6. Recognition

We appreciate the time and expertise contributed by our reviewers. All reviewers are acknowledged annually, and we encourage linking reviews to your ORCID profile, if applicable.
